Dino Falaschetti (PhD, MBA, CPA) is the Associate Professor of Law and Economics at Florida State University’s College of Law, Gleed Endowed Chair and Visiting Professor of Finance and Business Law at Seattle University’s Albers School of Business, and served the President’s Council of Economic Advisers as Senior Economist for regulation and financial services. He has also held academic appointments at Stanford University, Montana State University, University of California at Berkeley, University of Tennessee, and Washington University in St. Louis, and managed a $1 billion money market portfolio and financial statement audit-engagements for a Fortune 100 conglomerate.

Dr. Falaschetti’s research on how political forces influence legal risks and business performance has appeared in numerous books, scholarly journals, and professional publications. Often drawing on this work, his litigation support engagements have addressed matters in applied microeconomics and corporate and securities law, including telecommunications regulation, employment discrimination, household expenditures on children, executive compensation, employee stock options, and Section 10b-5 damages.  In addition, he has developed data-driven business intelligence programs, as well as policy evaluations and proposals for matters involving financial markets and banking, insurance regulation, health care, retirement security, regional economic development, and homeland security.
