Scott Wallsten is vice president for research and senior fellow at the Technology Policy Institute, a senior fellow at the Georgetown University Center for Business and
Public Policy, and a lecturer for Stanford University's Public Policy Program. Prior to his current appointments he had been director of communications policy studies and senior
fellow at the Progress & Freedom Foundation, a senior fellow at the AEI - Brookings Joint Center for Regulatory Studies and a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, an
economist at The World Bank, a scholar at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, and a staff economist at the U.S. President's Council of Economic Advisers.
Dr. Wallsten has authored numerous articles on regulation and competition in the telecommunications and other industry sectors. His research has been published in academic
journals and his commentaries have appeared in newspapers and newsmagazines around the world.
Dr. Wallsten has advised clients on wireless, broadband, intellectual property, and a range of antitrust matters in the United States as well as in OECD and developing countries.
