Professor Sudip Gupta renews his association with EI.

Professor Sudip Gupta assistant professor of finance of Indian School of Business renewed his association with EI. He previously was a special consultant and part of the EI team which assisted Maytag Corporation in obtaining approval of the Whirlpool-Maytag merger. He has extensive experience in antitrust and merger simulation. Dr. Gupta completed his Ph.D. in economics from Wisconsin specializing in industrial organization and econometrics. His research includes dynamic auctions estimation, empirical industrial organization, mergers and acquisition, corporate finance and market microstructure. He has presented his research in various international conferences like the Econometric Society World Congress; North American summer meetings of the Econometric society and many others and is a recipient of many awards. Dr. Gupta teaches behavioral finance and advanced portfolio management to MBAs and econometrics at the graduate level at ISB. He had previously taught at the University of Wisconsin Madison and at the Indian Statistical Institute. His consultancy areas include antitrust, mergers, corporate finance and securities market.
