Dr. Fowdur specializes in applied economics and industrial organization. Her work at Economists Incorporated has spanned competition studies in energy and healthcare markets, as well as investigations of allegations of price-fixing, entry-deterrence and monopolization in several other markets. Dr. Fowdur received a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University in 2009. Her dissertation research focused on the experiential aspects of consumer demand for movies, and her teaching focused on courses in microeconomics, statistics and financial analysis, at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Dr. Fowdur is originally from Mauritius. She has also studied and taught in Australia, and is fluent in several languages, including French and Hindi.
